Second nice day of the week. Bare-booted to the summit over a thin layer of snow over ice--no problems. I took the right loop (counterclockwise) around the summit and could have stopped and put on traction but was so close to the top I just kept on--no issues. Spikes were fine going down but crampons seemed to be the traction choice today of all the hikers I met. Tecumseh was my first 4k back in April but I took the left loop up to the summit. My recollection of that loop is that the right loop is steeper and a bit rougher. I like this trail cuz it's less than 3 hrs round-trip and I can squeeze it in later in the day. Any day hiking is a good day.
