Relatively straightforward rock hopping over about 20 feet on the primary crossing about a mile or so in. |

| Comments: |
Thin layer of crunchy snow over ice. Middle portion of trail has a fair amount of ice easily handled with spikes. Still a little bony on the upper 2/3rds of trail. Started at Basin lot, took bike trail to bushwhack that connects to LST. |
