Excellent evening hike of this peak. Ski trail was slushy at bottom but quickly turned to a solid but shallow base.Snowshoes from start to finish couldve used micros but took advantage of televators. With the current lack of snow it truly was nice to use them for a change. it was great crossing paths and hiking with on the ascent with a fellow Wanderer and Gridder to the summit and back as they completed their 250 th peak. The only other person on the slope tonight was a night skier enjoying a couple of runs via headlamp. Looked like a blast! |
