Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Cleared a handful of leaners, low hangers, and blowdowns, primarily along the Webster Cliff Trail- still a couple of leaners out there, but high enough to not be an issue even with a good bit more snow. A couple of spots could use some light brushing to minimize snow-covered branches hanging into the trail, but nothing major.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw two happy pups heading down Crawford Path as I was ascending

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a single pole at the summit of Pierce, and a single "stabilicer clone" hanging from the sign at Mizpah hut, brought both down with me

Comments
Comments: Went out for a New Year's Eve hike, started around 630PM just after the major precipitation had passed. Had a few flurries/drizzle/mix along the way, but nothing too exciting. Trail was well packed the whole way, some ankle-deep drifts for the last hundred yards or so up to the summit of Eisenhower, and some similar drifts near the summit of Jackson. Temps were right around freezing, so the snow was just wet and sticky enough to be a nuisance and would ball up underfoot while wearing spikes, so I ended up just bare-booting almost the entire hike, except for the descent to Mizpah hut and a couple of spots going down Webster-Jackson. Watched the 10pm fireworks at the Omni hotel from the Crawford Path/Webster Cliff Trail junction, then continued over Pierce and Jackson before heading back down to the car.
