 | Comments: |
A single snowmobile tracked up Bog Eddy snomo trail, spur to powerline was not tracked. Snow stupid sticky, I had to keep beating off the packed snow high heels my ski boots kept forming. At powerline I lied straight across and up that old trail about 10 minutes before I switched to snowshoes and left my skis behind. I stayed west of the right and found lots of moose tracks and I went around everything to stay in open woods and avoided steep stuff. Some thick stuff and deep snow up high. Found recognized summit and changed into dry clothes. Wet one today. Happy with my route and returned in my track. Skiing back would have been more fun if the snow wasn't so sticky. |
