Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The pull off for Pine Pend Brook is plowed back and could probably fit around 7 or 8 vehicles. The show off the shoulder is soft so some cars may have issue.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Wet/Sticky

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: All low and easy. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No recent blowdowns. There is one minor obstruction on PBB after the last crossing well before the wilderness sign,

Dog-Related Notes: None seen but would be a fine hike for most hiking dogs.

Comments: All trails were are well packed but snow was sticky with the warmer temps. Barebooted most of the way to avoid walking on snowballs. Snowshoes stayed on the pack today but may be helpfull tomorrow if it softens up more.
