Parked at the Beaver Brook Picnic area. Followed the trail to the road and then to the Trailhead. About 1.5 miles. Some packed snow in the lot but not a problem. |

The Gale River Trail is broken out, but the snow is soft. Started the hike in Hillsound Microspikes. Once getting to the hut, we all changed to snow shoes for the .5 miles to summit and kept the snowshoes on all the way back to the cars. |
