Comments
Comments: Trail was well packed. I barebooted up Blueberry Ledge, over Whiteface, and across most of Rollins before finally putting on spikes when it got a little steeper, stickier, and slicker. 7 I crossed paths with had spikes; a group of 4 had showshoes. The wind was much calmer than expected, and the sun came out in the afternoon - all in all, a good day.

Of note: the first ledge on Blueberry Ledge is not iced over, but is particularly slippery anyway. Similar to a poster from yesterday, I am short (5'); however, I did not have a stranger to haul me up and spent at least 15 minutes sliding while trying to figure out how to contort my body and defy physics in order to throw myself up over the ledge. Be prepared for a touch of frustration if you also do not have the reach.
