Comments
Comments: The trail was a steady climb up with right from the start with a few narrow paths. well packed snow. Used microspikes only. There were a few water crossings but they were easy to cross. Field was filled with gray jays and a rare sighting of a pine marten. Tom was cloudy but I was able to get a peak of the view by standing on a down log at top. Field has stunning views and did not disappoint. We decided to skip Willey to be back with plenty enough time before dark. The descent was strenuous on the knees and a bit slippery but manageable. Was a great hike a little under 11 miles in total.
