Comments
Comments: Quick hike of Mt Washington with a fellow Gridder for a type 2 adventure of tag and go.Started 20 degrees and no wind to speak of at the Waumbek water tower with sleet that quickly turned into sideways blowing snow/sleet with increasing winds and minimal visibility.By the time we summited visibility was at approx 20feet. We used snowshoes from beginning to end although below Jacob's Ladder micros or bareboots would be sufficient. Sporadic drifts heavy at times. Uppper elevations still quite bony but easily snowshoeable. We met and talked to a few that rode the Cog to the warminng huts. Many friendly folks and great chatting with one of the Cog worker's. Today was a perfect example of the winter buddy system for safety and fun.
