Many folks were able to drive up in the snow and park at the trailhead. We chose to park across the street at the overlook parking. |

A couple friendly dogs, one off leash but respectful with solid recall, the other on-leash. So nice to meet well-mannered pups on trail! |

| Comments: |
Small amounts of fresh powder. No need for snowshoes but we carried them just in case. Spikes all the way out and back were helpful but we probably could have gone without (not much ice but they gave some good traction in the loose snow). Gorgeous views of the Northern Presidentials today made for a great day. |
