Comments
Comments: Nice little hike up Mt Kinsman trail in overcast conditions / light snow. Packed snow for the first mile or so, turning to a few inches of loose snow. I found it easier with snowshoes from that point on ; my partner bare booted it most of the way and put snowshoes on for the last mile for traction (found it impassable in bare boots). Foot placement a little tricky w snowshoes near the top because of thin snow. Doable in spikes. Saw seven hikers and one other dog. Fun day!
