Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Major blowdown reported previously had been cleared, I cleared a couple of smaller blowdowns further up the trail. A couple of leaners remain, but easy enough to get under them, even with additional snowpack- as long as they don't fall further, they should be fine until spring

Comments
Comments: Late night solo hike, started at 10PM and returned to car shortly before 3AM. Didn't see anyone else in my travels, but no surprise there given the time! Bare boots were sufficient for the roadwalk (should have brought my XC skis!) but put on microspikes for HBT- probably could have been ok bare-booting it except in a couple of small stretches where there seemed to be pretty significant ice under the fresh snow. Ended up taking spikes off about halfway down HBT because they kept clumping up and causing more trouble than they were worth- bare booted all the way out with no issues.
