| Comments: |
Sawyer river road has some tracks from snowmobiles and skis, but it wasn't "broken out" for hikers. The road walk was a pain. The signal ridge trail was all packed down (with boots). Definitely no need for snow shoes yet. The established path diverged from the signal ridge trail for a while, but rejoined it after two water crossings. The ice mentioned in previous reports was not an issue today as it was buried under snow. The desolation trail appeared untraveled. Only two other groups out today! |
