Trail has a nice base starting. Only saw one other person today. We barebooted to the viewpoint, but used spikes the whole way down back to the car. Snowshoes probably wouldn’t have been helpful, as there are still some rocks and roots slightly visible. Trail still has a bit of loose snow on top, and there were patches of ice under the snow closer to the viewpoint. No issues on the ladder just below The viewpoint.. there was snow on the ladder, but steps were still usable.
A great day out on the trail with excellent, clear views! |
