| Comments: |
Challenging conditions today. Started in spikes and quickly switched to snowshoes for most of the hike. Little boney in places on Gale River Trail but felt most comfortable with the snowshoes on. There was 2-3 inches of fresh snow from last night. Drifty in places going up to South Twin. Sunny skis with amazing views but a cold day up high. Switched back to spikes before the big crossing on North Twin Trail. These peaks are always an epic winter hike, and it was a fun day with the crew. |
