Comments
Comments: Imp Trail is still too boney to use snowshoes. It could use another 8-10 inches of snow to cover the rocks. The ridge has around 8 inches of powder. I used Hillsound spikes and they did the job just fine. It snowed lightly until I reached the ridge, then it was in and out of the clouds. I got treated to some passing views of the Presidentials. Went back the way I came up, so can't comment on the trail between Middle and South Carter.
