Comments
Comments: Pretty much a consistent 4-6 inches of packed powder. Still a little bony but snow made this trail and its steps a lot more enjoyable than summer hikes. There's ice under the snow of course but spikes didn't really make much contact with it. Overall, a really pleasant early winter romp. Bearbooted first mile or so, then threw on Hillsound trail crampons on the downhill just prior water on the ascent. Left them on and descended via ski trails.
