 | Comments: |
Snow too fluffy and soft to consistently fill in spaces between rocks and stick to ice flows. Too boney for snowshoes though I thought I might have used them for a few short stretches. Overall too ankle-twisting with SS for sure. Still some ankle twisting with the spikes but I feel they were the lesser of two evils today. Snow depth not above toe box of my boots due to being broken out the day before by ScottB. Thank you! With snow coming in tomorrow and slightly warmer temps, the spaces between the rocks may fill in and make snowshoes the better choice. |
