 | Comments: |
Sticky snow at the base that would build up in spikes. "Broke out" from just before Bald Mtn summit to the Liberty junction. There are some bare rock spots, especially close to Chocorua summit, and also some drifty areas with snow up to knee-height. Weetamoo has not been broken out, Liberty down to Paugus parking area has. I started breaking out Brook Trail from the top but decided to turn around because I am lazy and I should have bought new spikes for this year. Average snow depth was like 4-5 inches. I don't know if that is enough snow to "break" or not. |
