Great hike, can't wait to do it next month! Not. Out and back. Barebooted to North Twin trailhead, micros to the North Twin Outlook. Snowshoes to South Twin. My companions gave me all kinds of grief about carrying snowshoes, but they really made the hike between North and South Twin much more manageable. We also filled in the postholes of the people who barebooted ahead of us. Be aware that under the unconsolidated powder there is still ice and slush. Beautiful day. Very little wind. |
