Wonalancet Range, Walden, Old Coach
Broke tracks on ~6" light powder testing out new shoes goes, my first ever snowshoeing. Switched to microspikes when the trail got too steep since the there is no snow base. Switched to trail crampons after slipping on the ledge above the shortcut intersection. Microspikes the rest of te way since half the snow at higher elevation was still stuck in the trees. Shoes again when I reached old coach. |
