Perfectly maintained trail. If I had to nit-pick, there was a single branch, approximately 3' long and 2" diameter, lying in the trail frozen to the ground. Just saying ;) |

Quick hike before the snow this morning with my hiking buddy to grid out Tecumseh.
Trail conditions are changing (improving) as I type this. Spotty black ice for the first mile, more significant blue ice from the rock steps to summit. Sharp spikes recormended, I stuck with beaters and skated around a bit decending, my friend had sharper ones and she had no issues. Hopefully a decent amount of snow falls tonight. |
