Comments
Comments: Nice hike overall. Good amount of ice on the trail, especially around the summit loop. Traction is definitely needed - I was fine with my Kahtoolas. Day started off cloudy but cleared up near the summit. Nice views of the Tripyramids, Washington, and even Franconia Ridge in the distance behind the trees. The staircase-like ascent isn't the best, but a nice hike with rewarding views for only 5 miles roundtrip (5.7 if you go to the ski area).
