Nice hike up to Carrigain today. The road is icy, but there are also significant sections of bare ground. Used micros up to the summit and Trail Crampon Pros down to 2400' before switching back to micros. Lots of ice on the upper section of the trail. You really want crampons on the descent. Saw 1 other person all day (Gnarly). |
