Comments
Comments: You will find all conditions on this trail at the moment. Bike path was packed well (from snowmobiles), herd path was mostly leaf covered/clear with some snow. Liberty spring from the turn was a mix of snow and leaf covered until the last water crossing where the trail is incredible wet with running water and deep puddles. Watch as the weather gets colder and this freezes as it will be tricky. As you gain in elevation the ice becomes more abundent and footings is unstable. Once you reach the "no camping" zone of the campground the footing becomes much better, it isn't monorail yet, but on it's way and stays this way until you reach tree line where there is little snow and thick ice in in between and in the rocks. Beautiful day on the mountain.
