Comments
Comments: Usual conditions for this time of year, no snow or ice at the lower elevation. Barebooted to Bald peak, but things got interesting thereafter. Steep thick ice flows, that just kept on coming. Glad we grabbed the sharp Hillsounds rather than the microspikes for this hike. Had planned to summit both north and south Kinsman, but the time to negotiate the icy challenges and the dwindling daylight left us with only the north summit.
