Easy parking today at 9 AM. Parking lot still clear of snow and ice. |

Water crossings all had bridges and were easy to cross. |

Only minor blowdowns. |

Didn’t see any dogs. Ice would be challenging for dogs. |

Barebooted first quarter of hike, and then the ice started. It got steadily worse as we climbed. Light traction was a necessity, and the ice was quite thick in some places. Do not attempt Nineteen Mile Brook without spikes. |
