Comments
Comments: Edmand's path is clear easy walking. Ice flows in the trail predominate above 3000' or so, and I wore micro spikes from this point on. Then closer to 3800' ish, crusty snow present in the woods and on the path. Still easy walking with micro spikes. Up on the ridge, wowee was it blowing this morning! Gorgeous day up there despite being pushed around by that wind. Bare rocks and low drifts (knee height) on the switchbacks and above on Crawford Path up to the Eisenhower summit. My snowshoes came along, probably hoping for a good early winter opportunity, but not today. Not many people out today and it was delightful chatting with all.
