Water is over the stepping stones, some ice on the exposed rocks. Waterproof boots recommended. |

A lot of water running down the trail. I cleared a lot of fallen branches but left a few bigger ones. |

What a difference a day makes. The snow has melted all along the trail. Below maybe 3500 feet, it's just rocks and the occasional soup of leaves and mud. Above that, there's a beautiful hard coating of ice that's easy to walk on with spikes. |
