Comments
Comments: Well we went up for galehead in the twins but unfortunately due to the wind as well as the snow conditions and the cold we decided just on Galehead. There was about 2 to 3 inches at the bottom and about a foot on top of galehead. We used micro spikes all the way up and carried our snowshoes in case we were going to the twins. We had seen the report of snowshoes probably needed above 4000 feet and that seems it would be accurate. We met the one person that attempted South twin but they stated they needed snowshoes and turned around halfway up. Only gridders out for the day but all in all we didn’t get blown off the mountain and had some snacks at the hut. Great company all around.
