Shay did great, he really excels on ice, his nails are like razors from walking roads about 25 miles a week around town. |

Had a late appointment so we picked a quick peak and we really like this route anyway. Boney as heck, we need some snow. I wore my Hillshounds the whole way. Ice covered by a thin layer of snow, a lot of ice on the steep section which we took for the fun of it ascending, went around it on the descent. I love this little peak, but we only hike it midweek mostly in the winter, because well..... we don't like people that much. The people we met were fantastic, nice humans on the hill today. No dogs for Shay, so he was a bit bummed out. |
