Comments
Comments: About 2" of fresh snow covering the trail to start only increasing to 3-ish inches at the top. Under the powder lies a mostly icy footpath. I wore spikes for the entire trip and they were just OK - I felt something more aggressive (like Hillsound Trail Crampon Pros) would have been better at least above the ski trail viewpoint and especially descending. IMO there just wasn't quite enough purchase for spikes to get through the new powder and dig into the trail beneath. Snowshoes went for a ride.

Quiet day on the trails as I only saw five others. I was the first one at the top but there were no views to be had - then again there isn't supposed to be much in the way of views up there anyhow. On my ascent I was trying to remember if I had been here since the peak became a sub-4k :)
