Comments
Comments: Spikes from start to finish, although snow and ice coverage is sporadic in the first 2 miles. Enough packed snow and ice past the wilderness boundary that footing seemed to be improving. Definitely bring your sharp spikes. Lots of ice on the steep sections.

Started to snow around 7:30 a.m. Not sure how much is in the forecast, but likely not enough to justify snowshoes for later in the week and into the weekend.
