This trail is always in top condition. The maintainer is one of the best. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Shay had a blast today and kicked some butt. A bunch of canines out today, ran into two that could use some trail manners, but Shay can handle himself, no biggie. |

A cross country ski pole at the trailhead start. |

Nice hike today, spikes from the the major water crossing were the ticket. Man it is nice when the snow covers the rocks and roots, you can walk without even paying attention. Minimal snow cover, two separate parties asked me about snowshoes at the parking area, I said no way and Tecumseh didn't make a liar out of me, thanks Chief. |
