Waterville Ski Resort is open now. Managed to grab a spot in Lot 1 across from the trailhead at 10:15am on Sunday. |

No issues today. Easy to rock hop. Some rocks were covered with snow and ice, so spikes helped with traction on the crossings. |

Saw a number of pups on the trail today having a great time! |

Found a camo glove on a rock. It was frozen solid and one of the fingers on the glove was ripped off. Brought it down and left it at the trailhead sign. |

Excellent day to be out on the trails! Not enough snow yet for snowshoes - wore spikes the whole time. Trail is getting a nice firm base. Most of the roots are covered at this point, but there are still many exposed rocks, especially on the section after the ski trail viewpoint. Lots of rocks had ice on them. |
