Comments
Comments: We did a Z-Bonds traverse from north to south. I'm not sure Sunday's conditions will apply after Monday's warm weather and rain but for what it's worth: We barebooted Zealand Rd although it was definitely icy. We used spikes the rest of the day. Most rocks are covered except in the col and summit of Bondcliff. There was enough snow to make snowshoes a viable option from Zeacliff to Bond but a firm base under 2" of fresh powder meant they weren't required. There was only a short section at Guyot when there were significant drifts that they wearing them would have helped.
