a fine day with friends who hadn't been there. a little over cast, but usual very fine view over Winnipesaukee. wonderful subalpine terrain. trail under foot was icy, crusty, or dry in various sections; microspikes necessary on several upper sections due to ice, ESPECIALLY blue trail up. green trail dicey over upper half due to ice.
