Comments
Comments: We started out bare boots expecting to need spikes soon, but never did all the way to summit. We put them on for the decent for better traction. Trails were mix of hard packed snow and ice patches avoidable. Bushwhack route as noted in earlier reports is not the normal route. Takes a hard left to lower elevation closer to river. Still avoids crossings but takes you through some dense trees. We attempted to pack out the correct route on the return but also ended up in some thicker growth. Either way it will get you there just will be wacking some bush. As stated above, if you find my hiking poles please email me.
