Comments: Six degree start but the promise of sunshine and no wind made this a great choice. Nice steady trek to the ridge, good snowy conditions to even out a lot of the trail. Wore spikes start to finish. I love these trail conditions, the rock scrambles along the ridge are so much more fun with snow . Fun crossing paths with a few familiar faces and happy to hike out with 4K working on her grid too. Noticed people enjoying some early runs down cannon’s front 5 on our way to the hike and I hear Wildcat is open for skiing too now over in the eastern whites. Winter is just around the corner!
