Lincoln Woods parking area had packed snow and some ice, heated rest rooms, parking fee. There were about 8 vehicles at 6AM and around 20 at 4PM. |

3 had open water but all passable on snow/ice covered rocks. |

Many stepover trees and a few duck under. |

Saw 2 dogs on leashes on Lincoln Woods Trail. |

A great day to be in the Pemi Wilderness, Temps from 15 to 30 with clear blue sky with some clouds after 3PM. I was the only hiker to go up Bondcliff today, I saw no one until I got back to the rail grade part of the Bondcliff Trail where I saw 1 hiker at 2PM who is camping out tonight. Saw about 10 people and 2 dogs walking on the Lincoln Woods Trail. The other hikers may have headed to Owl's Head today. This completes my December grid (560/576). |
