| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Odd...there was a chain on the ground and at the junction of Birch Hill Road and Grove Road and a bikes/all-terrain vehicles prohibited sign, so I opted to park there and walk 0.5 miles to the trailhead (and conservation parking area). |

| Comments: |
The lower portion of this loop had been logged and was difficult to follow in places. I did note a flagged, but not yet blazed, footpath descending from the summit on the north end. The summit itself was wooded without any views. The loop seemed more like an abandoned snowmobile trail than a hiking trail. Would not want to venture out here during tick season. Did not see any redeeming qualities; with all of the adjacent logging, perhaps a view could be warranted on the summit?
Support liberty. |
