Parking lot at Thompson Road had 5 cars when we arrived around 9:30. It was mostly full in the afternoon when we left. |

Going up to Middle Mountain there is one section of about 30 feet of ice over the trail. I barebooted to that spot and then put on microspikes which were helpful on the way down as well. There was only a thin layer of snow most of the way up- very easy hiking. Got a few beautiful views looking North toward Mount Washington on the way down from Peaked Mountain. |
