Comments
Comments: Nice walk out to the Owl. Both bushwhacks were well tracked out. The Black Pond whack runs higher than I have seen before but avoids almost all of the wet spots. Only an inch or two of snow down low increasing to 8 or so on the Ridge. Light traction was all that was needed as it is still to bony for snowshoes. Thanks to Katherine V for joining and motivating me for an early start.
