More of a rail trail than a hiking trail, but a nice walk regardless along a former railroad right-of-way. Mostly flat for the entire 1.5 mi. distance. I thought there would be more looks at Head's Pond, but only a small portion of it is visible from the main trail. Town Pond, where the trail ends, has a very sandy shore and small bluff. Several other folks out today enjoying the afternoon. |
