Spikes definitely needed higher up the trail. Not enough snow for snowshoes. We didn't bushwhack to the ledges on bald peak- no obvious herd path that we saw between the leaves and newish snow, and we didnt feel like poking around. Views on the ledges were nice although restriced; there were also a fair amount of clouds and lots of wind, so we didn't stop long. I plotted out the viewpoints on gaia from the WM guide but as is often the case, mileage/points didnt exactly match up. |
