Comments
Comments: Beautiful low wind warm sunrise hike of Mt Washington and beyond. Trace amounts of snow from the beginning of the hike leading to 6-8 inches of snow with several spots of heavy drifting throughout. Micros went on at 4200 feet for the duration of todays hike. The CRT was not overally icy at all. Crawford Path after Mt Pierce was by far the iciest stretch by far. While the snowshoes went along for the views today highly recommend as conditions will most likely change very shortly. It was nice chatting with another sunrise hiker as well as a MWOBS meteorologist. at the summit. Best of luck on your calendar year 48! i crossed paths with approximately 33 other hikers enjoying this mild weather.Mt Washington summit temp this morning was approximately 35 and measured winds on Mt Eisenhower at 18.5 mph.
