| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We got the last spot at 10 am and there were a bunch of people behind us. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The rocks are slick in a couple places on the crossings so care should be taken. But there are easier lines than the typical ones (slightly upstream in both cases). |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
|
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw one other dog on the trail (besides ours). The near vertical scramble just after the intersection with the Kenduskeag Trail is a definite challenge for dogs given the ice. |

| Comments: |
Chilly but beautiful day out there today. Bring your beater spikes because there’s still a lot of bare rock. The steep scramble near the intersection with Kenduskeag was loads of fun. |
