Parking/Access Road Notes: We got the last spot at 10 am and there were a bunch of people behind us.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The rocks are slick in a couple places on the crossings so care should be taken. But there are easier lines than the typical ones (slightly upstream in both cases).

Dog-Related Notes: Saw one other dog on the trail (besides ours). The near vertical scramble just after the intersection with the Kenduskeag Trail is a definite challenge for dogs given the ice.

Comments: Chilly but beautiful day out there today. Bring your beater spikes because there’s still a lot of bare rock. The steep scramble near the intersection with Kenduskeag was loads of fun.
