Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossing were passable. We did need to step on a few rocks that were slightly submerged. Light traction definitely helped on the crossings as some rocks were icy.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blowdowns. The same erosion on the Willey Range Trail in between Field and Willey that has been eroding for a while, but easy enough to navigate.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Our pup had a blast out there today!!! We only saw one other who seemed to be enjoying this beautiful day!
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing lost, nothing found.

Comments
Comments: Definitely needed light traction the entire loop. No snow shoes needed today, not enough snow. Most mud was frozen. All water crossings were low and easy to cross. We did step on a few rocks that were slightly submerged, but did not cause any issues. Exceptional trail conditions for shoulder season. Gorgeous day with stellar views! Nice to run into a fellow gridder out there!
