blue sky day, no wind, just enough snow on trees on upper half to be early winter. moderate number of hikers out today. our party of 3 had a chatty loop up trail, across sosman (most lovely stretch of the day), and down ski trails. [minimal snow on trails and construction mid elevation suggests they won't open for a while yet.]
views to east included white Big George and Jeff; view to west included white Franc ridge and Moosi.
a fine day to get ramped up on winter season.
